I had a similar experience as Joseph. The woman introduced my wife and I. She and her husband were family friends, so I thought. From what she said, I thought she wanted to know about Jesus. I was a baby Christian and probably didn't know the story about Joseph.
But when we met, it was a proposition. I got away fully dressed and nothing happened.
I told my wife. We quit considering them as friends. She left her husband and he died shortly after. He was several years older.
Righteousness will cost you. Jesus paid the price on the cross because He spoke the truth. I only realised that indeed the world lies in darkness so doesn't like truth/light. The bible says that men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds are evil. John3:19
